Memory of Sofia (commission)
Sofia & Lana: Over the span of a lifetime, pets become the most dependable family members once can ask for, and their suffering hurts their owners tenfold. Sofia was diagnosed with a cranial disease - the brain was developing faster than the skull. Lana was brought in to be a support dog for Sofia, making the medical procedures much more bearable. Unfortunately, Sofia passed away, but she remains with the family in the form of this painting - made with acrylics/oil paint, and so too is Lana immortalized as Sofia’s faithful companion.
